Charging Guidance

How to charge your Nodiee correctly, avoid overheating, and keep it reliable for years to come.

Your Nodiee is designed to be safe and reliable for everyday use. Just like any rechargeable device, how you charge it makes a big difference. Correct charging keeps the battery healthy, prevents overheating, and ensures your Nodiee is ready whenever your family needs it.

The Right Way to Charge

Use the Nodiee Cable

Always charge with the USB-C cable supplied with your device. Other cables may damage the port, cause overheating, and void your warranty.

Use a 5V = 1A (5W) Adapter

Only plug into a certified wall adapter that outputs 5 volts and 1 amp. Look for the RCM mark in Australia. Avoid high-watt or fast-charging adapters.

Keep 1 Metre from the Cot

Charge your Nodiee at least 1 metre away from a cot or bassinet. Cords should never be within a child’s reach.

Place on a Flat Surface

Charge on a stable, hard surface with clear airflow. Do not place on beds, couches, or under fabric where heat can build up.

Extra Care Tips

  • Do not leave charging overnight or unattended
  • Insert the USB-C gently to protect the port
  • Avoid extreme heat, cold, or covering the device while charging

When to Replace Your Cable

Over time, charging cables naturally wear down. Replace your cable if you notice:

  • Fraying, bending, or exposed wires
  • Loose or wobbly connector ends
  • The cable feels very hot to touch
  • You are still using the original cable from before May 2024

We have introduced a stronger, more durable cable with reinforced connectors and added safety features. If eligible, you can claim a complimentary upgrade today.
