Maintenance & Cleaning

Simple steps to keep your Nodiee clean, safe, and working at its best.

A little care goes a long way. Regular cleaning helps your Nodiee last longer, prevents dust from blocking speakers or vents, and ensures your baby is breathing fresh, clean air around their sleep space.

Why Regular Care Matters

Switch Off Before Cleaning

Always turn your Nodiee off and unplug it before wiping down. This keeps you safe and prevents accidental damage to the device.

Use a Soft, Dry Cloth

Gently wipe the exterior to remove dust or marks. For tougher spots, slightly dampen the cloth with water — never use sprays, alcohol, or chemical cleaners.

Keep Liquids Out

Never submerge your Nodiee in water or let liquid enter the ports, speaker openings, or control buttons. This can cause serious damage.

Adults Only

Cleaning must only be performed by adults. Children should not handle cables or attempt to clean the device.

General Maintenance

  • Store your Nodiee in a cool, dry place when not in use
  • Keep away from direct sunlight, heaters, or damp areas
  • Handle cables carefully — avoid bending, twisting, or crushing connectors
  • Check cords regularly for signs of wear or fraying
  • Do not tamper with internal parts — there are no user-serviceable components inside

When to Stop Use

Stop using your Nodiee and contact support if you notice:

  • Persistent overheating during charging or use
  • Unusual smells, smoke, or signs of liquid leakage
  • Buttons, lights, or controls no longer working properly
  • Damaged, frayed, or exposed wiring on the cable

Disposal & Recycling

When your Nodiee reaches the end of its life, recycle it responsibly.

  • Do not dispose of with household rubbish
  • Take your device and cables to a local e-waste collection point
  • Follow your council’s guidelines for safe electronic disposal

Recycling ensures hazardous materials are handled safely and valuable parts can be reused, reducing landfill waste.
